20 years? Really? Man, things have changed, and so much for the better. See for yourself right here in South Dakota when The Washington Pavilion brings RENT to the stage this week for two shows.
Then again… 20 years? Really? Hmmm… it started in 1996 according to the official blurb: “In 1996, an original rock musical by a little-known composer opened on Broadway and forever changed the landscape of American theatre. But that just makes us feel older. And hey, who’s ever staged a 24th Anniversary Tour? Maybe they’re just getting properly revved up for the 25th. Enjoy it either way.
